The author talks about being fifty-seven years old and how much he has missed his family since they were separated because of his imprisonment in the consulate. He mentions that his younger children are longing to see him and live with him. He further asks ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma to allow him to be with his wife and children under any condition.

Mushir al-Dawlah writes about Sakinah Khanum, wife of Vakil al-Sifarah, and her two sons being banished from their house by the Friday prayer-leader to relocate his daughter, who is also the wife of Vakil al-Sifarah, and his two granddaughters there. The writer asks ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma to command the return of Sakinah Khanum and her two sons to the house.

Letter regarding the petition of Nasir al-Din Shah's wives and daughters
The writer is sending an envelope containing the petition of wives and daughters of the late Nasir al-Din Shah and explains the hardships they are going through and that if the current condition continues they will have to take their appeals to one of the foreign embassies. The author asks the king [Muzaffar al-Din Shah?] for immediate action and a response. The second document is a draft of the same letter in which some parts of it has been rewritten several times.

Letter about asking for Mukarram al-Saltanah's hand in marriage
The author compliments Mirza Fath Allah Khan, son of Haji Mushir Lashkar (from Tabriz), for his achievements and mentions his marriage proposal to Mukarram al-Saltanah, daughter of ‘Abd al-Hamid Mirza Nasir al-Dawlah. The writer asks the addressee for his permission for this marriage.
